| Secret Santa update |
[24 Dec 2009|05:44am] |
I currently have presents from all the Secret Santas except that_was_cheesy, shoutingdreams, & kelsigrint. shoutingdreams has asked for a little more time. If the other two could let me know whether they'll be able to submit an icon by the end of today (Thursday), or if I should reassign to a back-up santa, I'd appreciate it!
And if any of the back-up santas would be willing and able to make an icon today in a pinch, if you could comment here, that would be great. We're almost done! :D

Ahoy there! 30 years old, Australia, no money this year, so I am trying to ask for things that cost nothing but time - and I am trying to do the same thing or others.
1. Do you know any PhD students? Then please: DO NOT ASK THEM WHEN THEY WILL FINISH. In my experience (and I am currently living it!) the writing up is the hardest, and you push yourself, and push yourself, and still don't finish. Having people ask questions and have a show of incredulous disbelief that you are still there????? is not at all heartening!
2. For a number of years I have been trying to get this post up to the 5000 - and now the 10 000 mark. Please go make a comment! Comment to other peoples. Maybe I will get there in the next 10 years
3. Suggestions for non-mainstream musicals. I adore musicals and opera, and I am interested in things that don't only make it to broadway and westend. Particularly ones that have numerous female roles, and if there is a chorus, that they are not only on for less than 10 minutes in a 2 hours show.
4. If you feel like sending me a random gift, I am totally cool with that. Just message me and I shall respond :-)
5. I am a busy and stressed person.. but I have an artistic side too. What sort of artistic things do you do that can be set up and put away, and don't require a *huge* investment of funds? I really want to know!
6. Appreciate someone! I think we forget how important the little strokes are - well done, thankyou for doing that etc etc. Do it for a friend, do it for someone you work with. It can change a whole dynamic.
7. Next time you hear someone say something derogatory about someone else - whether because of their religion, their colour, because they are fat, or any of a other myriad of reasons, call them on it. I am a big believe that by saying nothing we are passively endorsing whatever it being said. This one is a huge call, but I think if we all did it, the world would be a nicer place.
8. If you were having the ultimate dinner party, what would your menu be? (recipes nice, but not mandatory :-). We have a dinner party group, and my mexican lunch was nice, but a lunch, not a dinner party (to quite my friends). I have until Feb to come up with my menu, but I want to wow everyone, and would love some ideas. There are no dietry restrictions (there is a lactose intolerant vegequarian coming, but I will make her her own dishes if it doesn't fit in with the main food).
9. Give a loved one a hug and tell that you love them. Do this *especially* if you don't do it all that often. I know that I love my family, but I don't think I always say it :-/
10. If you think we would get on, and if you like interacting, and would like another lj friends, add me! I miss the interactions that I used to have, and while I love the people I have there at the moment, I would be a fool to say no to new friends
And I think that is all! I wasn't intending to make such a long list.. but it is what it is :-)

Hi! My name is Daisy, I'm 26, and I live in Texas. This is my first time here. I know I'm way late, but I'm mostly posting this because I love making lists.;)
1. A Pen pal: I miss getting things (other than bills) in the mail.
2. Sweet Valley University books: I loved these when I was a teen and, apparently, some things never change. I'd love to have all of these (so far, I have the first three).
3. Hayao Miyazaki movies: Beside the fact that I love them, they are the only movies my kids will sit through (regardless of how many times they've seen them).
4. Roller derby stuff: I'm kind of obsessed with roller derby; I'll take anything!
5. HESI A2 tips: I am applying to nursing school and have to take this soon. I'm kind of really stressed over the whole application process.
6. Knitting help: I really want to learn to knit. I feel kind of dumb because I can't get past one row.:/
7. Craft supplies: Once upon a time, I used to be super crafty. I'm trying to get that back.
8. Mixed cd’s: It's always nice to discover new music.:)
9 Scarves: Any and all. I've never been a scarf-wearer, so I'm kind of trying them out.
10. Healthy, easy recipes: I'm trying to develop better eating habits.

I'm Lily, and am more than kind of late this year, but I figured I may as well post a list as I'm trying to grant so many. I'm pretty sure I've done this for four years now, am 19 years old, am going to a community college intending to major in Creative Writing, just recently celebrated a one-year anniversary with my awesome boyfriend, and am from Lafayette, California (yay NorCal.) Honestly, I feel like I had a HUGE wish granted already, because last week it looked like my family was going to be evicted from our duplex. Fortunately, we got everything straightened out and the future is looking a bit better.
My list is kind of spastic. Or, at least it seems like it to me.
1. Recommendations for weird books. Typically if I think a book sounds sort of odd or unusual, I'm pretty liable to pick it up. By this I mean books that are really surreal, have a bizarre plot device, maybe even had something you found kind of weird or disturbing in them. Basically, if you've ever finished a book and thought 'Man, that was a trip'? I'd probably want to read it.
2. Advice for recovering a broken hard drive. Definitely a long shot, I know. Last summer my hard drive stopped spinning, as I have been told, and there are a few things I would really, really want to recover from it. It's from a Dell Vostro 1500, and if anyone could point me in the right direction for somewhere to take it/what I could do I'd appreciate it. (I've been told it could take $1000+ to fix..?)
3. Somewhat related, musical soundtracks. I had a LOT of them on my hard drive that random friends/acquaintances sent to me, or gave me on a burned CD that is now scratched to pieces. There aren't really any musicals I hate, and I'd kinda prefer physical copies but digital is fine too. The only soundtracks I know I have on CD are Urinetown, Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Wicked, Legally Blonde, and Hedwig and the Angry Inch, so I'm covered on all of those.
4. If you're an avid reader and have a ton of books lying around, join PaperBackSwap.com! It's pretty much awesome, fairly easy, and you can put your account on hold if need be. I joined it a few years ago because of someone on here, and really I just want to spread the word. If you do decide to join, please list me (my username's Eudial) as the person who referred you.
5. College advice because I still am not really decided on what school I'm transferring to. I'm looking for somewhere with a strong writing/creative writing program, in a fairly urban area, and a fun atmosphere is always nice. I'm pretty much open to suggestions, feel free to tell me about somewhere I may not have heard of or considered.
6. Halloween themed socks! I wear them year-round. :D My feet are like, US women's size 8, but apparently I still fit bigger sizes of kids' socks.
7. A Magic Bullet, because it looks pretty nifty and my current blender is older than I am.
8. Toffee. Homemade toffee would make me unreasonably happy, but also so would normal store-bought Almond Roca.
9. BART tickets, with any amount on them. My boyfriend lives in the San Jose area, and I have no car, so this is pretty much how I visit him. Maybe you were in the SF area and have a half-used ticket? Or just feel generous? I don't know. In any case, it would be greatly appreciated.
10. A paid account would be cool; I've gotten way out of the habit of regularly updating my journal and want to get back in the swing of things. Ngl, the extra icons would definitely be an incentive.
Thanks for reading! Hope you have a charming holiday, if you aren't already. My address is ( here )

5. I own a Polaroid without films. If you have any film to spare, you can send them over. If you have the new instax or any other cute cameras to give. I will be more than glad to receive one.
6.I am also interested in getting a t-mobile sidekick. I need it unlocked though. If you can help do drop a message.

Hi everyone! (: My name is Terry, I'm 18 and from California. This isn't my first time on Holiday Wishes, but I do love the spirit of the season and just making someone's day with a package or letter in the mail! I've also been lucky enough to get some of my wishes granted too. I'm so thankful for what this community has brought me <3 So here's my list! - Handmade / hand-decorated cards. I know not everyone celebrates Christmas, but I'd love to get any sort of holiday card. I love seeing people taking time with crayons and markers and glitter and all that crafty jazz to make a card come alive. What a surprise out of the envelope, right?!
- A penpal. I've really missed sending and receiving letters in the mail, and it would be great to make some new friends! To be honest, it gets a bit lonely at college and it would be nice to look forward to some sweet letters in my drab school mailbox.
- DVDs of classic musicals. I'm a musical theater kid (love singing, acting, and dancing!), but my knowledge of Broadway and general musicals is way too poor. I need to learn mooore, haha. Ripped is just fine also, I'm not picky (:
- Flannel. I kind of love flannel, it's ridiculous. But not the fitted, technicolor shirts that most trendy teenagers wear. The straight-from-the-thrift-store, old, worn, non-descript-overszed kinds. Where it's soft from years of wear. Looove that!
- Recipes for someone on a budget. I'm a broke college student and I can't afford to go out to eat, but I don't know how to cook! A recipe book or something similar that caters to people with limited finances would be fantastic!
- Foreign candies. American candy gets dull real quick. I love trying things from other cultures (: I have a soft spot for Japanese sweets, but like I mentioned before, i'm really not picky!
- A typical souvenir from your town. My town has a good amount of tourist traffic, and it always makes me giggle when I see out-of-towners buy things that represent us. I'd like to know what is the typical souvenir in your town!
- Hand-knit or -crocheted beanies. I'm in love with slouchy beanies, just adore them. Especially in super-obnoxious colors. <3
- Vintage t-shirts. Especially with funny quotes or really ridiculous pictures. Lately, I've been on a big kitty-cat kick. You know, those soft-looking, doe-eyed ones in the middle of a giant basket of flowers? I find them so darn appealing.
- A dollar or two. I feel a little embarrassed putting this on my list... but budget cuts have hit my uni especially hard, and it's getting tougher and tougher to pay the tuition fees. Any amount of money would be a huge blessing. My PayPal email is tospendtime@hotmail.com if you would like to send a bit my way.
If you'd like to grant any of my wishes, please email me for my address at HERBROKENSMILE@HOTMAIL.COM. Thank you so much for reading this. I'm off to go grant more wishes now! <3

The human genome is about 3.4 billion nucleotides long. (source)
Each nucleotide can be 1 of 4 chemicals (A, T, C, or G), and takes 2 bits to encode each nucleotide.
One sperm holds half of a copy of the human genome.
Thus one human sperm contains 3.4 billion bits (3.4x109 nucleotides * 0.5 genomes * 2 bits) of information.
3 billion bits is 405.3 MiB. (source)
Normal sperm count in one ejaculation is about 40 million. (source)
That converts to about 16.2 PiB, or 16,212 TiB, or 16,212,000 GiB, in one ejaculation. (source)
For comparison, a standard CD holds 670 MiB, and a one-layer one-sided DVD holds 4.4 GiB.

| Hey Everybody |
[18 Dec 2009|02:45pm] |
Hey everybody! :) My name is Kassie. I'm 20, from Canada. I love making people happy and experiencing the joy brought on by little things, thoughtfulness, creativity, you name it! I hope to be able to do some of that this year too, even if I'm running very late! If you'd like to fulfil any of my wishes on this list I would be more than appreciative. I will put all of my info behind a cut, but if you wanna comment on this post, that's awesome too. It's always fun to know that something's coming your way, even if you're not quite sure what! Please note: I'm perfectly happy with second-hand anything. Or handmade. Or ANYTHING. Seriously. Even if you don't think you're good at writing or drawing but want to draw or write something...I will always appreciate the time, effort and skill you put into it. <3 Okay! On to my wishlist!
1. Cute Stationary: I love stationary. I have a lot of japanese stuff and I love it. Besides writing on it, I love using it to make gift cards and thank you letters for people in my life. Or hanging some of it on my bedroom walls as decoration. :D
2. Mixed CDs: I love discovering new music! It keeps my musical library alive and since I am the host of an internet radio show...trust me, it helps. I love rock, blues, instrumental, orchestra, sound track, soft music, gothic (mmm gothic ANYTHING) and ESPECIALLY I am ALWAYS on the hunt for creepy music!
3. Anything Horror Related: Horror movies make my life. As does most things related to the gothic subculture. Got something stripey, batty, skully, or otherwise awesome? I've always loved the idea of having horror themed hair accessories, as well.
4. Left4Dead2 Themed ANYTHING: Fanart? Fanfics? Icons? Wallpapers? Hand painted mug? Promotional wear? Anything. I love Left4Dead and it's sequel. Especially with my favourite character in it: Ellis.
5. Christmas cards: I love Christmas cards, and love to read people's writing and stuff.
6. A Cure: I am currently dealing with a disorder that causes me to have mini-seizures. It's not epillepsy, but every time my neurologist does tests, she can't seem to tell me what's wrong. It's very stressful for me, and sometimes scary. I'm not on meds because each one they try on me usually slows down my ability to comprehend things or even gives me bad headaches. It's hard, on me, my boyfriend, my parents...all of us. Just keep me in your good thoughts, is all I ask.
7. A paid LJ account: I know it's a lot to ask, but I love LJ and using icons and just everything about it.
8. Donations: This year has been really rough money wise. I had to pay to carpool to a different college as a part of my university program (I couldn't move to the other college because I have a place near my actual university and they don't run shuttles back and forth and it's a 45 minute drive). I had to pay rent and bills, plus regular expenses and OSAP (student loans) really didn't come through for me this year. If you could find it in your heart to donate a little bit to my paypal account (Peaceful_wolf@hotmail.com), this will be going towards groceries, bills and rent as well as being saved up for next semester's tuition. Even if it's as little as 25 cents, it would still mean the WORLD to me.
9. Happy text messages: If nothing else, getting happy text messages is the greatest thing ever and can turn a grey winter's day into something wonderful. If you would like to fulfill any of these, you can find my info behind the cut, here:
( Contacty Info of Doom )
I will be fulfilling wishes too, to the best of my ability. Much love and happy holidays.
EDITED: I just wanted to fix up the format of my post. It was a little ucky.

This is my second year round, and I'd totally forgotten about this community until today! I'm Anji, 23 year old mother to Orion who's four and partner to Fredrik who'd kill me if I disclosed his age. ;o) We live in the south of the UK with three adorable fancy rats.
I'm going to go through in a moment and see how many other wishes I can grant. :D And here are mine:
1. Cards! I'm Pagan, Fredrik is agnostic bordering on atheist and Orion has no religion because he's only four, so cards from any religion/denomination or none at all would be wonderful.
2. Anything rat related. Like I said, we have pet rats, and I am totally obsessed with the little critters. So I'd love anything rat/mouse related!
3. Stickers. Orion (like I imagine every other four-year-old in the world) loves stickers!
4. Magnets. We have a huge fridge which is covered in notes, tickets, postcards and photographs, and not enough magnets to go round them all. ;o)
5. Notebooks. I collect notebooks like other women collect shoes or handbags.
6. Anything from Lush. Seriously, I think Lush is my favourite shop in the whole wide world. I would live in there if I could.
7. A pay rise for my partner. He doesn't earn enough right now for us to move out of our house. I really hate this house (it's where my son nearly died, for one thing). Please Father Christmas, have a word with his boss?
8. A donation (money or clothing/toiletries) to your local women's shelter. Or a monetary donation to Rape Crisis, RAINN, Women's Aid or your regional equivalent.
9. A donation (money, blankets or food) to your local animal rescue shelter. Or a monetary donation to an animal welfare charity.
10. Call your mother to tell her you love her. I didn't realise how hard my mum worked, or how much she really loved me, until I had my son. Call your own mum and tell her how much she means to you.

| holla at me |
[18 Dec 2009|09:00pm] |
According to the Oxford English Dictionary, hello is an alteration of hallo, hollo, which came from Old High German "halâ, holâ, emphatic imper[ative] of halôn, holôn to fetch, used esp[ecially] in hailing a ferryman." It also connects the development of hello to the influence of an earlier form, holla, whose origin is in the French holà (roughly, 'whoa there!', from French là 'there'). -- Wikipedia

Poo nugget for this weekend: Rectal High - Enemas are used in contemporary medicine to cleanse the colon or as a mode of delivering drugs into the system. Traditional medicine has long employed enemas for the latter reason, and some Native American and Mayan tribes continue to administer peyote and other hallucinogenic drugs in this manner.
Poo nugget for Monday, December 14: Dr. Stool Says - Constipation - More than just hard stool, constipation is defined by any one of the following: infrequent bowel movements (less than three a week), difficulty during defecation (straining during more than 25 percent of bowel movements or a subjective sensation of hard stools), and sensation of incomplete bowel evacuation.
Poo nugget for Tuesday, December 15: The Working Title Was Taming of the Stool - The first appearance of the word diaper was in Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew: "Another bear the ewer, the third a diaper."
Poo nugget for Wednesday, December 16: Doo You Know? - How Many Toilets Do You Think There Are In The United States? - According to the EPA, there are an estimated 222 million residential toilets in the U.S., with ten million new toilets sold each year. The annual flush total? Three billion gallons.
Poo nugget for Thursday, December 17: Mr. Hanky, the Christmas Poo - On this date in 1997, Mr. Hanky, the Christmas Poo, first appeared on the television show South Park. He emerged from the toilet bowl in the tenth episode of South Park's first season, wearing a Santa hat and bearing gifts for little girls and boys whose diets are high in fiber.
Poo nugget for Friday, December 18: You're Avoiding Poo For Two - Pregnant women should refrain from cleaning cat litter, as it could expose the fetus to toxoplasmosis, a parasitic infection that can cause complications or even miscarriage. To further reduce the risk, the litter should be cleaned daily - by someone else. Daddy, get to work.

This is a first for me, prompted by a friend's posting this year and some general lurking last year. This community seems like a such a great place, with a fantastic premise: Giving! As for me, I'm 30 years old and living in Tacoma, WA with my husband and our five-year-old daughter. It's been a rough year for us all, but we're here, we're alive and we have each other. That's what matters most. The rest is just the bacon on our maple bar.
Onto the wishes, right?
1. A new vacuum cleaner. My last one was a dumpster dive find and it proved to be the best vacuum I ever owned. Until yesterday, when I turned it on and I swear it nearly exploded. After some minor surgery, it was determined that the entire motor had disintegrated. Now, I'm relegated to sweeping my carpet. Boo.
2. Tickets to see Alice in Chains at the Paramount in Seattle in February. The one thing my husband wanted for Christmas. While I made a meek attempt at obtaining them when they went on sale earlier this month, the truth of the matter is I just didn't have the money to spend on them.
3. However much it costs to take my cat to the vet. Last year, my now nine-year-old cat became so anemic that she required an emergency blood transfusion. She also developed a blood clot that traveled to one of her back legs, rendering it useless. She's been in great health until recently - a bum leg doesn't hold her back! However, she's developed a lump the size of a plum that bothers me. This is another of those things we haven't been able to afford, though - I'm still paying on the $1200 emergency room bill from last year that saved her life.
4. Bath Bombs from Lush. Specifically, the Bathtime Favourites tin they're currently selling for the holidays. Nothing's better than when my ears slip below the waterline and the real world is just a little bit muffled for a little while.
5. Torrid giftcard. I'm a chunky girl and I'm tired of not dressing to suit my personality. Too much of my clothing is more suited to my job and not my life outside the office.
6. Voltage converter for travel to Europe. I'm going to London on business and I'd rather not blow up my gadgets while I'm there, but I'm hopelessly clueless as to what I'll need. New, used, it doesn't matter. Just so long as my laptop stays in one piece, I'm happy.
7. A decent pair of shoes, size 9. I'm Mom, so everyone else gets their needs met before I meet my own and it happens most when it comes to shoes. Now, my trusty sneakers are about to fall right off my feet. I usually just end up buying myself a pair of cheapie Wal-Mart shoes, but I really need something that can put up with my walk-everywhere, public transit self. I'd really like a good pair of Dr. Martens ankle boots because they're comfortable and sturdy.
8. A new (to me) kitchen table. The one we have has seen better days. It's permanently tilted and shakes when you use it to write on or rest your elbows. I'd like to get my family eating dinner at the table again, but it's hard when the table itself is so full of fail.
9. Flowers delivered to me at work. From someone other than my mom.
10. Peace on earth, goodwill towards men. Seriously. If only for one moment.
My contact info is listed in my profile or I can be reached by LJ message.
Happy Holidays to one and all!

| Hello! |
[17 Dec 2009|07:15pm] |
Hi there! This is my second year doing this, and I am very excited to get started this year. I'm 23 years old, live in Southern California, and hope one day to be a librarian. At the moment I am in school for a history degree and work at a bookstore. (yay books!)
Sorry for the late start. And here is my wishlist.
1. Cards! Christmas cards are love!
2. Peter Rabbit plush. Any would be lovely, but I am particularly in love with Jemima Puddle-Duck.
3. Flickr users, I would really love to follow more people on flickr. I am rather enamored of the site lately. So links to any of your favorite flickr users would be wonderful.
4. A penpal, because mail is a lovely thing.
Thank you very much for looking! My info is ( behind the cut ) Thanks so much!

Hello, everyone! I'm twenty-eight years old, I live in Buffalo, NY, and I work for a local politician (who I call "Bossman" on my blog). I always have so much fun trying to find wishes I can fulfill on here and my flists! I don't have much that I want for myself this year, and I have plenty of friends and family members to take care of me. What I'd like to ask of all of you is help with something for one of the best teachers I ever had.
Sister Marcyann taught first year history to the freshman at my all girls' high school. (Global Studies I, for you New Yorkers) She has been there FOREVER, and she has always been a favorite of many of us. She's a tough teacher, a tough lady, and she won't take crap from anyone. She is an inspiration, and one of the reasons why I went into comparative politics in the first place. Sometimes, when I find myself with a problem student in front of me, I think "What would Sr. Marcyann do?" You can read more of everyone else's Sister Marcyann stories on Facebook here. Now she's sick. Sr. Marcyann has been undergoing treatment for cancer for a while, and things have been very difficult for her.
It has always been a dream of Sr. Marcyann and her best friend (our former Vice Principal, Sr. Connie) to take a trip to Alaska. Some of us girls are trying to make that dream a reality. It would be wonderful if Sr. Marcyann had an Alaskan trip ahead of her to think about while she is undergoing her treatment. It could help to keep her spirits high and give her something to look forward to after the treatment is done. So, we are asking if people would be willing to make a small contribution to a trip fund. If you have just a few dollars to spare, we would all appreciate the thought. No donation is too small (or too big)! We have already raised over $600, but there's still a long way to go.
Sr. Marcyann and Sr. Connie do know about this and are extremely excited and grateful about the prospect. If you are interested in being a part of this project, ( info on where to send it )
Please and thank you! ♥

Hello, my name is Jessika, I'm 17, and live in southern California. This is my second year in the community. I know I've gotten a pretty late start here, but I hope that I can still grant a lot of wishes. :)
Here's my (super late) list...
1. Kawaii stationary. I love to write letters with cutesy Japanese or Korean stationary.
2. Stickers. I have a small sticker collection, but I'm always looking to add more.
3. Collectible spoons. My best friend bought me my first one a couple years ago as a joke, and I fell in love. I don't have very many, but it's fun to see different ones from around the world.
4. Anything Dr. Who related. Icons, banners, comics (!) - anything would be appreciated. The Ninth Doctor is my favorite, by the way. ;D 5. Concert fliers/posters. I like to decorate my room with them. 6. Manga suggestions. Shojo manga is my favorite. I also really like four-panel comedies like Azumanga Diaoh.
7. More LJ pals. We may have a lot in common!
8. Try to recycle whenever possible.
9. Be sure to tell those who you love how much they mean to you.
Thank you for reading! Leave a comment if you'd like my contact info. Also, please link me to your wish list, so I could try to return the favor. Happy holidays! ♥

Hey! :) I'm Tria, 23, from England, on (I think) my third year at this community. I love seeing people made so happy by things, it's awesome. I hope to be able to do some of that this year too, even if I'm running very late! If you'd like to fulfil any of my wishes on this list, please comment, and I will try to find your wishlist too and send you my address. Thanks a lot!
Please note: I'm perfectly happy with second-hand books and such. I don't care about things being new so long as they're serviceable - and thank you to everyone here for taking part in this! I'm moving at the start of January, but I will be setting up mail forwarding, so it's not a problem. Also, anything late is also welcome, because my birthday is in early February, so I tend to treat late Christmas gifts as early birthday ones. :D
01. Amazon gift cards - I'm forever buying stuff from Amazon.co.uk for myself and others, so something to take the cost of that down a touch would be terribly helpful and very welcome!
02. A shower mat - I'm moving into a place with a downstairs shower as my mobility is limited, but it doesn't have a non-slip mat, so I'd really like to get one - I could do without getting another concussion. My brain is a sieve already, lol.
03. Bookcase(s) - As I say, I'm moving, and don't have housing for my 1500+ books in the new place yet... Would be very much appreciated. (I'm in the Greater Manchester area of England, if that helps.)
04. Pretty, long skirts - I love them all, provided they aren't pink! Especially the kind with layers that fall to ankle-length. I have a sort of collection, but I'd kind of like something fresh. (No need for it to be new - I can even mend rips if I have to!) I'm 5'4" and a UK size 14. :)
05. A hooded shirt or T-shirt for one of my major fandoms - preferably Sanctuary, Farscape, NCIS, Firefly or CSI: NY. (If it's character, the girls tend to be my favourite!) I take a medium, usually, or, as above, a UK size 14-16 (chest measurement 40", since I know that's usually needed). ♥!
06. an Xbox 360 - That's my big ticket item! I'd love one of my own. Doesn't have to be new so long as it works, if I'm lucky enough to get this - I don't mind! :)
07. Something from my Amazon wishlist(s) - Search for trialia @ gmail.com at Amazon.co.uk - there's more than one only because I divide my wishlist at Amazon into separate ones based on media, which is good for my organisation. I'm not asking for stuff from more than one, I swear! :)
08. Mix CDs - I like instrumental and symphonic metal genres better than anything, but you can find out my music taste at my last.fm account. :) I love to discover new music!
09. Something for my little sister - She's really broke this year, and has to give all her holiday money to her landlord for late rent, and she's suffering from depression, so I'd like to see her get something nice that isn't necessarily from me for a change. I think it would cheer her up a lot. She likes fantasy, dragons, LARPing, cinnamon and corsets, among other things - her username is gaia_kiari if you'd like to find out more. Thanks!
10. A cure for fibromyalgia syndrome! - Oh, I'd love that. As would many of my friends. I can hope, right? :)
Happy Holidays to all of you. I hope you get what you want! I'm going to go trawl through the community for things I can grant, now. :)
